Hello One Lap for Dogs Fans.

Harry and I left at 8:30 this morning, driving north to get on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Along the way a guy got out of his van in front of us and asked how to get to 422, Pottstown. I told him to follow us. We headed north on 82 and when we got to 23, I told him Pottstown was about 20 minutes East. He then tells me that he wanted to go to Oaks, near King of Prussia. Poor guy, followed us for about 20 miles further than he needed to...but hey, he was ushered around the coutryside by the OLFD Corvette. He'll remember that trip I am sure.

We stopped at Dunkin Donuts, large coffee. 45 minutes later, Starbucks, triple venti latte and a healthy sandwich. Proper caffination is a must. Harry on the other hand is shooting for more of an excess sugar and mass fat diet. He had a Boston Creme Donut for breafast with Popeyes fried chicken for lunch. The poor eating has begun! Then during the ride he breaks into a pack of yellow peeps, and at a stop to rotate and balance tires, he grabs a burger at Steak and Shake. 620 Miles today I think Harry had about 5 times that in caloric intake. So for those keeping track at home, The Vette is getting 25 MPG and Harry is getting 5 Calories to the Mile!

Thanks Amy for the nice texting while we were making the drive. We appreciate the humor during the long runs between stops.

Our party at Hoss's last night was awesome. The winning guess for number of bones was 393, congrats Buzz! We donated another $505 to the SPCA and will have over $300 more from Hoss's and Top Dead Center Motor Club next week. It was great seeing everyone and we really appricate your support!

Tonight will be the last time we sit down for a meal during this adventure. It's time to carb up and get down to business.

Feel free to drop us a note anytime. We'll have some web updates later tonight including our first Video Blog from the Vette.
